Are you getting your money’s worth or throwing money away? Here are a few Do’s and Dont’s.
Don’t throw your money away by purchasing more volume than you need or buying longer hair that must be cut. Refer to our guide on how much extension hair you need for the look you want, and measure the length you want before you “eyeball” it and buy too long.Do research the brand you are using to make sure you aren’t overpaying for the hair. You would research several cars before buying one, why not do the same with your extension providers?
Do research extension stylists in your town to get an idea of application cost. Read reviews and find pictures of their work! Many stylists have learned how to install extensions but not all stylists have mastered the art. Regardless, both stylists prices might be similar but create very different qualities.
Don’t forget to ask questions about the maintenance appointments. The different methods of extensions take various amounts of time to adjust after grow-out. Know how much your adjustments will cost, how long it takes, and how often you will need it.
Don’t skimp on the quality of the hair. Longevity is key when committing to extensions! It’s always best to find hair that keeps its value after months of wear instead of repurchasing and reinstalling lower quality bundles.
